Trust & transparency

Editorial Policy

The standards governing Podiatrify educational and editorial content.

Purpose and scope

Podiatrify publishes educational information directly related to the foot, ankle, lower-extremity biomechanics, podiatric care, limb preservation, footwear, and orthotics. It does not provide diagnosis or individualized treatment.

Editorial workflow

  • Choose a topic with clear relevance to foot and ankle care.
  • Identify and preserve primary sources where available.
  • Separate evidence, clinical interpretation, and commercial claims.
  • Apply an explicit review status and publication date.
  • Correct substantive errors and document material updates.

Authorship and review

Named authors and reviewers appear only when their identity and displayed credentials are verified. Editorial review and medical review are distinct; we never use the terms interchangeably.

See the medical review process.

Independence

Sponsored or affiliate content must be labeled near the relevant content. Commercial relationships do not permit a sponsor or seller to approve clinical conclusions.
